The store prides itself on catering to diverse beauty needs with luxurious skincare serums to everyday makeup essentials. It is the go to destination for beauty enthusiasts seeking quality and convenience in the UAE.

Problem & Challenges

Rover Island entered the GCC market with high expectations but soon encountered challenges with their website. The primary issue was dissatisfaction with the design quality provided by previous vendors which failed to resonate with the region's diverse cultural aesthetics. Their website lacked intuition and had high bounce rates and poor conversion metrics. They also faced difficulties in localizing content which hampered their ability to connect with their target audience. So Rover Island needed a solution to establish a distinctive brand identity with a well functioning site. 

Our Approach

To tackle the multifaceted challenges faced by Rover Island we initiated a comprehensive analysis of the GCC beauty market. We used both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. We conducted user persona mapping and usability testing to identify pain points in their current website architecture. With the help of a content management system (CMS) using Node.js and React.js we integrated their backend database. Our iterative design process also included A/B testing.
