Problem & Challenges
The initial website was built on an outdated WordPress theme that lacked responsive design especially on mobile devices. Additionally, the site's architecture was convoluted which made navigation difficult for potential patients and resulted in high bounce rates. Performance issues were also there due to slow load times caused by unoptimized images and excessive plugins. Furthermore, the lack of integration with a robust appointment scheduling system created logistical bottlenecks.
Our Approach
We adopted a mobile first design approach with a new WordPress theme that was fully responsive and optimized for various devices. Our development team streamlined the site architecture for more intuitive navigation flow. We also implemented a content delivery network (CDN) to reduce load times and utilized image optimization techniques to compress file sizes without sacrificing quality. An advanced appointment scheduling system was added to synchronize with calendar applications. Finally, we established a robust maintenance plan that includes regular updates, security patches and performance monitoring.
